From the moment you arrive at Margaritaville Beach Resort, you’re greeted with a laid-back tropical vibe that instantly melts away any stress. The resort’s design and decor transport you to an island state of mind, complete with swaying palm trees, vibrant colors, and of course Jimmy Buffett music playing in the background.
Family-Friendly Amenities
One of the highlights for families is the expansive pool area. Imagine spending lazy afternoons lounging by the pool while the kids splash and play in the sparkling waters. The poolside cabanas are a must for some shade and privacy, where you can relax with a cool drink in hand while keeping an eye on the kiddos. On top of a comfortable place to lounge, each cabana offers a cooler of water bottles, an attendant to bring you those frosty beverages or food and a TV. We found Cabana 5 to be towards the center of the pool where my kids like to hang out, but for littler ones, I’d suggest towards either end to be near the shallower water.

Whether you’re enjoying breakfast on your private balcony or taking a sunset stroll along the beach, the ocean views at Margaritaville Beach Resort are simply stunning. The resort’s prime location allows you to soak in the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico from almost every corner.
Beach Access
Direct access to the beach means you can easily transition from poolside relaxation to sandy toes and salty waves. Build sandcastles with the kids, collect seashells, or simply unwind with a good book while listening to the gentle rhythm of the ocean. You can rent an umbrella and chairs and purchase beach toys or sunscreen and other necessities from Sonny’s Beach Service right next to the resort. They also offer banana boat rides, parasailing and other ocean experiences. I took both kiddos up parasailing and it was incredible!
Spacious Condo Accommodations
For families needing extra space, the resort offers luxurious two-bedroom condos that feel like a home away from home. With two-bedrooms, a separate living area, fully equipped kitchens, two full bathrooms and modern amenities, these condos provide the perfect retreat after a day of adventures. The private balcony on these condos is HUGE with relaxing Adirondack chairs or a traditional patio set for four!
Delicious Dining Options
Food is an integral part of any vacation, and Margaritaville Beach Resort excels in culinary offerings. Indulge in fresh seafood, tropical cocktails, and mouthwatering dishes served at the resort’s onsite restaurants. From casual beachside bites to the on property food truck or the table-service dining experience at the LandShark Bar & Grill, there’s something to satisfy every palate. The Blackened Mahi Fish Tacos are mouthwatering! There is also a coffee bar in the lobby that offers light bites including salads, sandwiches and pizza or breakfast favorites like pastries or quiche.
