Contrary to its name, this Disney Drink Of The Day is a perfect refresher for a pool-day afternoon. The cerulean color matches the tranquil blue skies and the sun-kissed water, while its taste is light and delicious. Hold on to your sunhats, sip your Storm Chaser and enjoy the Floridian, paradisaical weather.
The Storm Chaser is a combination of Skky Vodka, Bacardi Superior Rum, Blue Curacao, Sweet and Sour and Sprite. It has just the right amount of citrus, sweetness and sour. I found it appropriately at Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill near Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club Resorts. I also recommend the Lobster, Shrimp and Scallop Roll as the citrus mayo pairs quite nicely.
If you are just visiting the Resorts or Disney’s BoardWalk area, grab a drink and take a stroll. There are several benches and chairs in the nearby sand, or fun experiences like Pick-A-Pearl. The prominent lighthouse of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort also makes a great picture!
I hope you have a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation and that this Disney Drink Of The Day is the only Storm Chaser you encounter. Although in all my Disney storm experiences it usually feels as though they are chasing me and not the other way around.
