Disney Drink Of The Day: Lynchburg Limeade

Limeades are one of my favorite summer treats, so there is no doubt the Lynchburg Limeade was a favorite way to cool off on our Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

I am a sucker for limeades, so when I noticed this addition to the Disney standard pool bar menu, it screamed Disney Drink Of The Day! While many know Lynchburg, Tennessee as the home of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, many don’t realize it still has the “small town” charm of earlier eras. With only one traffic light and a population of only a few thousand, Main Street and the rest of the town still offer a relaxed, genuine feeling–like the kind you look for on vacation. Thus making this Disney Drink Of The Day the perfect sipping addition to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

The Lynchburg Limeade is a tasty combination of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, fresh lime juice, a splash of sweet-and-sour and even a hint of peach. If you’re not a big fan of whiskey, I still encourage you to try it–you may just be surprised. I honestly thought it’d be much more “whiskey tasting,” but was completely surprised at how well the lime and jack Daniel’s compliment each other.
