Disney Drink of the Day: The Elusive Safari Amber

November 6, 2014 By //  by Lauren 9 Comments

Disney Drink of the Day: Safari Amber

There are many rare encounters you may experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I have heard that on average the park holds just shy of 2000 different animals and around 250 different species. I love enjoying a trek through Kilimanjaro Safaris or spotting the infamous Yeti on Expedition Everest, but one of my favorite sunny day experiences is tracking down this Disney Drink Of The Day.

I adore all cocktails, but at heart, I am a “beer girl” and there is something special about sipping an ice-cold, refreshing brew made especially for the Walt Disney World Resort by the Anheuser-Busch company. This American style, red lager is a crisp and refreshing medium-bodied beer with just a subtle taste of hops and citrus. A perfect accompaniment to a hot day touring the park.

You can find the Safari Amber lager exclusively throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Resort and at the Refreshment Cool Post in Epcot’s World Showcase. So, the next time you are “home” for a visit, try one out and let me know what you think. Why we’re at it, comment to tell me your favorite Disney’s Animal Kingdom attraction as well? Are you a thrill seeker? Like the animals? Or maybe a show? We want to know!

Cheers!

Lauren

I’m staying at Animal Kingdom lodge for the first time soon! And I love beer. It’s probably $25/cup at Disney (slight exaggeration) but I’ll have to try it anyway!

I drank this more than once last week at our resort the AKL and it was only $6.25 for a tall glass, not bad at all.

I loved the safari ale as well. I just wish that it was available closer to me!

Right? I believe they have a special ale available at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort now too!
