Walt Disney Animation Studios Confirms “Moana”

I love movies! I mean really; I adore watching them, critiquing them, talking about them and well, if it’s a Disney movie then I am really interested.  Before I had kids, I would stand in line  for hours excitedly waiting for the first showing of the newest blockbuster.  Still to this day, my movies are alphabetically arranged in our movie room and I may even have a spreadsheet to keep track of them all. We have movie nights, we drive an hour to the closest Drive-In, all of our kids are almost old enough to really enjoy theaters and well, movies are just a big part of our lives.

That is why I am completely thrilled to hear that Walt Disney Animation Studios has confirmed “MOANA.” There had been some rumors circulating for quite awhile and even a sketch or two, but just this week, they have officially announced the newest of their CG-animated masterpieces, set for release in late 2016.

“Moana” is a story set in the ancient South Pacific about a “spirited teenager on an impossible mission to fulfill her ancestors’ quest.”  I can’t wait to see what kind of character our newest Disney heroine will be like.  With a breathtaking first glimpse like this, it is bound to be incredible!
