It’s the first day back after a holiday weekend and I’m feeling it. Tuesdays that feel like Mondays are always a little rough, but these are crazy times. With our moving company and now homeschooling, I try to order my groceries online as much as possible to stay home and save time. Now, you can order fresh, roast-to-order coffee from Walmart to enjoy at home.

Walmart introduces a brand new category to its online shoppers: Roast-to-order coffee. Unlike ordering other coffees online, with this program the beans are artisan roasted in small batches only after an order is placed. The coffees are then quickly delivered directly to Walmart.com customers at peak freshness, with a “roasted on” date proudly displayed on the bag. This adds a major competitive edge to Walmart’s online coffee selections that customers are sure to enjoy.

The first major retailer to offer a roast-to-order coffee program, Walmart partnered with the Boca Java and Boulder Organic Coffee to offer coffees crafted using only Specialty Grade, 100% Arabica beans that are hand-picked from the world’s premier growing regions, reflecting the top two percent of coffee beans available in the world. Walmart.com shoppers can select from a wide variety of coffee offerings including single origin coffees, expert blends and flavored coffee that showcases the top sellers from Boca Java and Boulder Organic Coffee.

Coffee Flavors

I was immediately drawn to the fair-trade certified, organic offerings from Boulder Organic Coffee. Roasted right here in Colorado for more than 20 years, they are often a go-to of mine. The Foothills Blend is my favorite morning brew.

I also ordered a couple fun specialty flavors from Boca Java to try out: Bananas Foster Float and Maple Bacon Morning. I definitely tasted more maple than bacon, but still good. The banana fosters one was incredible! It offered just the right taste of banana and a hint of sweetness.
