Stunning, rugged style and luxurious detail had us loving the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport AWD 2.0T the moment they dropped it off for our review. Overall we were impressed, but there were a few things not quite as pretty about it…
Impressed at First Sight
The sparkling nightfall blue paint glittered in the Colorado sun and beautifully contrasted with the dark grey 19-inch alloy wheels. The Santa Fe Sport has a way of pulling you in, even if you aren’t a car enthusiast, to further examine its clean lines and striking details. The style continues to the inside where you’ll find heated and ventilated leather seats, heated second-row seats, a navigation system, 360-degree parking camera system, an 8-inch touchscreen display, a panoramic sun-roof and a 12-speaker audio system.
Interior Space & Seating
Although its outer shape and size doesn’t look like it, we were impressed at the overall seating space and cargo room inside the 2017 Santa Fe Sport. We found plenty of head room for gazing out of the panoramic sun-roof and both child safety seats fit well with ample leg room. The one con we found regarding seating was that although the seats were made out of a high-quality leather and adjusted well, they were rather stiff and uncomfortable.
Drive & Handling
The 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport AWD 2.0T handled turns very well. It really seemed to grip the road and not ever feel “tippy.” Our model was equipped with the 240 hp 2.0 liter turbo 4-cylinder. You could feel the turbo engage, however both myself and my husband noticed quite a hesitation before the extra “zoom.” While the mpg is decent (19/24), the slow acceleration doesn’t really live up to the “sport” name.
Safety
While we enjoy driving, with 3 pieces of precious cargo (our children) riding along, this assessment is particularly important to our family. Our model boasted the 360-degree parking camera, smart cruise control, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and lane departure warning. These features plus the structure and the great handling of the 2017 Santa Fe Sport have it receiving top marks in safety ratings and reviews.
Overall
The size and style of the 2017 Santa Fe Sport AWD 2.0T is perfect and you’ll find the “top of the line model” prices out under most of its competitors top models. If you’re looking for the most luxury details under a certain price point, this may just be the crossover you’re looking for. Our biggest cons were the comfort and the slow acceleration, but the overall beauty and safety may make it pretty easy to look past those details.

This one is a great review, right information and absolutely helpful, mostly to those looking for this kind of car but before you buy make sure that your car insurance is also stress free like your car. Great job to author.
