Walt Disney World Single Rider Attractions 2026 List
Your Complete Guide to Riding More and Waiting Less!
If you have ever wished you could skip a long Disney line and get back to Disney snacking, the Single Rider line might become your new park day sidekick. Whether you are visiting alone, sneaking in a little me time on a family trip, or simply want to ride something the rest of the group is skipping, the Single Rider queue can save an impressive amount of time.
Some rides at Walt Disney World also use Single Rider temporarily during peak crowd seasons, which means you might find surprise opportunities to jump ahead faster than you can say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo! As always, offerings can change, so having an updated 2026 list makes planning smooth, but make sure to also check the handy My Disney Experience app before heading to the next Single Rider line attraction.
Below is the complete list for 2026, along with refurbishment notes you will want to know before planning your magical escape.
Single Rider Lines at Walt Disney World in 2026
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
You can jump into the Single Rider line and help fly the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. Be prepared to take whatever role is open, usually Engineer. If you want the full pre show and storyline, I recommend standby first, then Single Rider for repeats. You can also take part in a new adventure this summer, beginning May 22, 2026! The new mission will include the Mandalorian and Grogu!
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
This coaster is closing in Spring 2026 for a full re-theme. When it reopens in Summer 2026, it will debut starring The Muppets. Once the new version opens, it is expected to bring the Single Rider line back, but during refurbishment months it will not be available.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Not officially a Single Rider Option attraction, but it does occasionally use the option during peak crowds. If it appears on the My Disney Experience app, use it immediately because it usually disappears faster than you can finish a Ronto Wrap.
EPCOT
Test Track
Test Track reopened in mid 2025 after refurbishments and remains one of the most reliable Single Rider options. The theming in the regular queue is fun, but if your priority is speed, Single Rider can be significantly faster.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
This attraction has been using Single Rider more regularly and tends to offer it during busy seasons. Lines can still be long, but Single Rider often cuts them down.
Soarin’ Around the World
Not often open as a Single Rider queue, but EPCOT occasionally tests it during high-crowd days. It is worth checking the My Disney Experience mobile app each time you visit.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
One of the most dependable and consistently fast Single Rider lines in all of Walt Disney World. You might skip the main queue story, but you will make up the time on the mountain. Perfect before lunch so you can reward yourself with a warm pineapple upside-down cake from Yak and Yeti.
Magic Kingdom Park
Magic Kingdom Park still does not offer any official Single Rider lines in 2026. Your best bet here is to use rope drop, Extended Evening Hours (If you are staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or a Disney Deluxe Villa Resort), or Lightning Lane Passes if you want to keep waits short.
2026 Refurbishment and Closure Notes
Planning around closures can save you a lot of frustration, especially if you only have a few park days.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
Closing March 2026 for a full re-theme
Reopening Summer 2026 as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
Single Rider returns once the new version opens
During refurbishment, this ride will not offer Single Rider
Everything else on the list is expected to remain open in 2026 barring temporary downtime or normal maintenance.
How to Use the Single Rider Line Like a Disney Pro in 2026
Here are my best tips after years of park days and many solo parent laps around the World:
Start with Everest and Test Track
These two are the most reliable Single Rider lines across the resort. They are perfect for stacking quick thrills early in the day.
Use Single Rider for second or third rides
If it is your first time experiencing a ride and you want the storytelling and queue immersion, choose standby. Once you know the story, Single Rider helps you squeeze in more magic.
Always check the app
The My Disney Experience app now highlights attractions offering Single Rider. If you see it, go before it disappears.
Snack first, then ride
This is personal advice, but trust me. A pretzel before Everest is a better choice than after. No one wants to ruin a perfectly good Mickey snack.
