Two Fun Finding Dory Events – June 11 & June 12 #FindingDory

In celebration of Disney Pixar’s “Finding Dory” swimming into theaters on June 17, Pixar Studios, The Walt Disney Studios and Disney Parks have declared this Saturday, June 11, “Speak Like A Whale Day!”

The secret to speaking whale is making the words as long and ridiculous as possible. That’s how all whales talk, right? –Kaitlin Olson, voice of Destiny, who speaks whale and offers guidance in this Speak Like A Whale Featurette

Soooo howww doooo yooooouuu paarrrtiicipaaaate? Fan’s are encouraged to speak whale all day long! Order your coffee, get the conference room laughing, text or email, call your mom…have fun with it, and be sure to upload it using the hashtag #SpeakLikeAWhaleDay. I can’t wait to watch the fun come in in waves!

Are you going to be at a Disney Park? (Talking to you family!) Guests can pick up a commemorative button while supplies last, take part in special festivities at Disney Springs or the Downtown Disney District and young Guests can even attend “Whale Speak University.” At Epcot’s The Seas with Nemo & Friends, experts from Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment Team will be on hand throughout the day to help Guests find and learn about Dory and her friends. Also, make sure you check out the addition of Destiny, Bailey and Hank at Turtle Talk with Crush to see what they are all up to.

Local friends, you’ll want to check out a special event going on Sunday, June 12. From 10:ooam – 1:00pm, 98.5 KYGO & Disney Pixar are hosting a South Platte River Clean Up Volunteer Event!
