Spooky Halloween Floats

October 13, 2025 By //  by Lauren Leave a Comment

These delicious Halloween floats taste just like a creamsicle and can be made with or without spirits, but they are sure to get you in the Halloween spirit. These are great for a costume party or to make kid-friendly for an after school treat.

Halloween Floats

Super simple to make and great looking–your guests will love them! It’s really only three simple ingredients (two if you want to leave out the vodka.) The fun part is the decorating. For kids, I recommend using gummy novelties or fun straws and leaving out the small toys. You could also rim the glass with colored sugar or sprinkles. To do this, slice an orange and rub on the rim, then dip the rim of the glass in a shallow dish filled with the sugar or sprinkles.

Ingredients

As I said, there isn’t much to this one. Here are all the ingredients you need for each Halloween Float:

  • 1 Shot Orange Vodka
  • 2 Scoops Vanilla Ice Cream or Orange Sherbet
  • Orange Soda
  • Vampire Teeth or Gummy Teeth
  • Toy Eyes or Gummy Eyes
  • Halloween Straws

Directions

  1. Pour in once shot of orange vodka.
  2. Place ice cream into each cup.
  3. Top off with orange soda.
  4. Garnish with a vampire teeth & toy eye.

Enjoy!

Easy, peasy, orange and spooky! Have so much fun making these! We are going to make them for a Halloween movie night next weekend. Let me know if you make them for something fun. Watch for some fun Halloween Jello Shots coming up and don’t forget to embrace fall feelings while there are still summer temperatures with the Sparkling Cider Margarita. Thank you!
