I’m Still Here

Hey there! You may be wondering why I haven’t been posting much on the blog lately. I promise you I’m still here and wanted to take a moment to check in.

So, where have I been?

I love writing and while I haven’t been as active as I’d like to be here, I have been working on several freelance opportunities and testing out sharing my passion in a few other communities. This will always be my home for writings and ramblings, but I thought I’d take my proverbial pen and paper on a bit of a journey and see where else my writings might end up.

Where can you find my writing?

I can’t share all of the articles I’ve been working on just yet, but in case you haven’t seen them, I wanted to share two fairly recent ones that are special to me.

The first is this article I wrote for the 2019 Pikes Peak Visitors Guide about my family’s favorite Southern Colorado adventure spots (pg. 18.) This article was not only fun to write, but meant a lot to me as I’m blessed to live in and explore our amazing state and share my adoration with others visiting the area.

Next is a piece I wrote and shared with the TODAY show Parenting Community. It’s tough to submit a new piece into a new community as you’re never sure how it will be received. I sat silent reading everyone’s posts and finally got the guts to submit an article of my own. It feels good!

Summer is here

We are just finishing out finals week with the teen and soon will be celebrating summertime as a family. With that I’ll definitely be posting our travels and everyday adventures so keep an eye out and make sure you follow my social media accounts to follow the fun.
