We’ve all seen the adorable commercials on TV. The ones of happy families splashing together with huge smiles on their faces and then turning in for the night inside a beautifully decorated guest room complete with a log cabin and bunk beds. My little ones run screaming and pointing their tiny fingers at the TV, begging to take a trip to any of the Great Wolf Lodge properties, but with the closest being several hours away, we just haven’t had the chance to experience the splashtastic fun. That will all change soon as it was just announced Great Wolf Lodge is coming to Colorado Springs!
My joy mirrored their screams of excitement. We are always looking for a nearby family adventure and Great Wolf Lodge promises to provide just that. My water loving kiddos will adore the huge, 84-degree water park jam-packed with excitement at every twist and turn and when I finally pull them from the water, there are plenty of other activities and good ol’ family fun we can experience throughout the rest of the resort.
Suites offer over-sized wolf dens or cabins complete with bunk beds. Premium suites offer luxuries for the parents like fireplaces and whirlpool spas. Although, with all of the resort activities it will be hard to tuck in for the night. We are looking forward to Story Time in our pajamas, MagiQuest the interactive adventure, the 33,000-square-foot indoor play park, mini-golf, mini-bowling and more. The resort will also offer seven different dining options to satisfy any hungry adventurers appetite.
Rumor has it the resort will be opening next fall, so make sure you follow along to watch how progress is going and to learn more about the resort, activities and extras. Who else is excited for the adventure to begin? Here is a small glimpse of what is in store.
