Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival 2015

“…Bees will buzz and I’ll be blowing dandelion fuzz, in…” Okay, okay it’s not quite summer yet, even though most of the country is counting down the days, but it is almost time for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival! Spring at Walt Disney World Resort is always gorgeous and this Special Event is the creme de la creme, the icing on the cake, the cherry on top, the…you get it!

My favorite parts are the extremely detailed and ornate topiary displays and of course the decadent drink and food options.

New this year, Anna and Elsa will be displayed in the World Showcase Plaza, Goofy and Pals will be “Goofy About Spring” at the Main Entrance and a Miss Piggy topiary will even make an appearance near Italy. Outdoor Kitchens will also be offering fresh, seasonal dishes and drinks that will make your mouth water. La Cava del Tequila, one of my favorite stops, will even be bringing back their Hibiscus Margarita just for this event! Along with the beautiful displays and great eats, there is always ample entertainment. Rock out to the Garden Rocks Concert Series, take a moment to listen to one of the fascinating presentations, or get your hands dirty in one of the workshops. You can definitely find plenty of fun for the whole family, so don’t be surprised if it take a few visits to enjoy it all!

Along with the information about the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, Disney also released the dates for some more exciting Special Events planned this year such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!  Please be aware these dates can change at any time, but they are as follows:

I am most excited about the ten new gardens; especially the health and healing and the Shakespeare ones! Unfortunately, we will just be missing it this year, so share lots of pictures please!
