I’m not going to lie! I tend to put things off, or as some people would call it “procrastinate”. I like to think of it more like waiting until the perfect time. LOL! But, if you are like me, then you may still be looking for a quick and simple dish to bring to the neighborhood barbecue. Look no further! These easy pie crust cookies will be perfect (and look like they took much more time than they do!)
Easy Pie Crust Cookies
These cookies are super quick, but very tasty and have a festive and fresh look. As I said, they’re great for a last minute party, but also for a fun activity to do with the kiddos even if you’ll just be eating them yourselves. Yes, they’re cookies, but at least they have fruit on them, right?
Ingredients
- Cream Cheese Frosting
- Pre Made Pie Crust Dough
- Blueberries
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
- Star Cookie Cutter (this set of 5 has Prime shipping and offers a variety of star sizes)
Easy Pie Crust Cookie Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350F degrees.
- Roll out the pie crust & cut out stars with the cookie cutter.
- Place on a cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until star tips and edges are slightly golden.
- Remove from oven and transfer to a cooling rack.
- Frost each star with cream cheese frosting.
- Garnish the stars with blueberries, raspberries & strawberries. It works best to cut the strawberries and raspberries in half. Have fun with the decorations! Each cookie is a canvas.
Enjoy!
