Growing up, Cinderella was always my favorite Disney Princess. Although I didn’t have a wicked step-mom and I couldn’t talk to animals, I remember doing my chores and dreaming about my someday-prince and our wedding day. Every little girl does right? Right?
For Junior Prom I found the perfect Cinderella dress, a beautiful blue with a flowing skirt and even small flowers sewn up the bottom. I felt like true royalty as my Prince whisked me away to the ball (okay, prom.) Luckily my Fairy Tale ending turned out pretty great, as that same Prince who took my hand then is now my husband and we are living our Happily Ever After.
Okay enough mushy love story, back to Cinderella. Obviously I adore her and I am extremely excited to see Disney’s new live-action version when it opens March 13, 2015. Get excited with this new trailer and let me know what you think! Doesn’t Cate Blanchett look marvelously wicked?

Oh my gosh your dress and prom story!! Cinderella indeed! My girls are also VERY excited about the new Frozen short in front of the movie.
Aw. Thank you! I have the dress in my closet still, I will have to pull it out and take a picture. Yes, the Frozen short looks cute, but I am not ready for the gaggle of screaming girls that will accompany it! LOL
