On the 15th anniversary of the opening of Disney California Adventure Park I thought it was due time to make a Disney Drink Of The Day post and from where better than…you guessed it, Disney California Adventure Park. Last summer my mom and I took a girls trip and one of my favorite memories was raising our bubbling glasses of Piccini Prosecco and toasting our adventure, amazing friends who couldn’t make it with us and our special mother-daughter bond as we waited for World of Color to begin. I’ll never forget our trip, but in particular that moment and therefore, Piccini Prosecco will always be a favorite. It’s dry, but not too dry, has a delightful ripe pear flavor and leaves a very nice aftertaste on your palate.
Moments before we had enjoyed another beverage or two from Mendocino Terrace. This was a perfect retreat to sit and catch the lovely breeze in a quiet corner just perfect for people watching. There were also a couple of outlets available to charge my phone battery back up for the evening. The wine list was plentiful, at least for a novice connoisseur like myself, and they offered a couple of appetizers to enjoy.
If you haven’t been yet, you have to visit Disney California Adventure. I love Walt Disney World, but Disneyland will always hold a special place in my heart and Disney California Adventure adds so much to your trip “home.” I recommend the Park Hopper ticket option since the parks are so close. It was wonderful to walk over for a rest and cocktail when Disneyland crowds became too much. It was also great to have so many dining locations to choose from and attractions to please everyone.
Congratulations on 15 wonderful years DCA! I can’t wait to see what the next 15 will bring!
