All of these Walt Disney World Resort cocktails are divine, but you’ll have to wait for future posts to discuss the Big Island Iced Tea and the Captain’s Mai Tai. Today’s focus is on the big, blue beauty in the middle: Island Moon-shine.
I have to admit, I was a little nervous to try this one. I can’t say I was all that familiar with moonshine (something I am learning more about now) and it sounded like an odd ingredient to pair with tropical flavors. Surprisingly though, it is deliciously refreshing. I wouldn’t say it is my favorite Disney Drink Of The Day or item on the Standard Pool Bar Menu, but it is good and I will more than likely order it again. Disney’s Island Moon-shine is a shining combination of Troy and Sons Platinum Moonshine, Blue Curacao, Coconut, Pineapple Juice and Coconut Water. It’s fruity, it’s fun and with its festive blue color, you will be dreaming of tranquil ocean waters in no time.
Disney’s Standard Pool Bar Menu is full of fun flavors and colors. What is your favorite “go-to” drink to celebrate your vacation?
Cheers!
