Now, I love a good Sangria, but I am not one who usually orders them from restaurant menus because more often than not they taste like a fruit-filled punch and I never would have though to make it a Disney Drink Of The Day. I have suffered through many made with cheap wine and sugary syrup, so I am always a bit hesitant, but one of my favorite bartenders at the Banana Cabana insisted I try their version and I was pleasantly surprised!
The Beso Del Sol Red Sangria (also available in white) was a full flavor, light to medium bodied drink with subtle notes of floral and citrus. It was a wonderful balance of both sweet and dry and I really did enjoy it. You can find the Sangria on the Standard Pool Bar Menu and at various other dining locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. It’s even found at one of my favorite family-friendly drink locations.
So, the next time you can’t decide on a glass of wine or a refreshing cocktail, have both with this Disney drink of the day! If you’ve tried it, which flavor did you enjoy more, white or red? Would you order one again?
