Well, since we started off this week with National Margarita Day, I thought it would be appropriate to continue our Epcot Series with one of my all time favorite locations in all of Walt Disney World Resort: La Cava del Tequila in the Epcot World Showcase, Mexico Pavilion. They have over 200 different tequilas, usually around 15 different margaritas and delicious chips and guacamole to soak up all that yumminess!
The Avocado Margarita is one of my favorites. It has a fresh flavor, not too overpowering and an incredibly creamy texture. It is truly indescribable. If I am looking for a bit of a kick, I may choose the Jalapeno Margarita. You definitely taste the heat of the jalapeno, but the refreshing lime cools your palate quickly.
For a fruity twist I like to go with the Blood Orange Margarita, the Passion Fruit Margarita or the limited Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Hibiscus Margarita. Obviously it is tough to narrow down the choices, but you really can’t go wrong with any of their delicious options. If you are having trouble picking one, take my word for it and go with the avocado, you won’t regret it!
You can follow La Cava del Tequila on Twitter and Facebook to make sure you know what specials they will be offering during your visit and for fun news and contests. Enjoy your Disney Drink Of The Day!
Cheers!

I LOVE the jalapeño margarita, but the avocado one is on my list to try!

You must, Mary! You won’t regret it! Please share your thoughts when you do!

The margaritas at La Cava de Tequila used to be fantastic. My favorites were the jalapeño, avocado and the blood orange. They were made fresh. Now they are pre-made and the taste and quality have sadly deteriorated, the last one I had in February, my friend and I didn’t even finish them. It used to be one if my must do’s at EPCOT but now I don’t think I’ll ever have another one from there again.

I am so sorry to hear this, Judi! I haven’t had one since last September, so I am extremely interested to try them again in May. Hopefully, they have been brought back up to standard.

I was was at Epcot in March and the Avacado margarita was exceptional and the cucumber was a close second. I don’t know if it was a thing they were trying out by having them pre made as Judi said, but this was not the case when I was there. Despite the long lines, it was very much worth the wait for a phenomenal FRESH margarita!

Wonderful to hear the quality was back to Disney standard! Thanks for letting me know!
