Disney Drink Of The Day: Captain’s Mai-Tai

 

This is the last in our “Island Drink” Disney Drink Of The Day series. Previously we have showcased the Island Moon-shine and the Big Island Iced Tea, and while there are others (like the Banana Cabana) the Captain’s Mai Tai completes this colorful concoction circle.

I’m not much of a fan of Mai Tais, so, in the name of research, my lovely mother was happy to order and try this delightful drink. (It was actually pretty tasty!) The Captain’s Mai Tai is another treat available throughout the Walt Disney World Resort on the Standard Pool Bar Menu. It consists of: Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, Amaretto, and Tropical Juices, topped with a float of Meyer’s Original Dark Rum. It’s fruity with a little spice and a sweet finish from the Amaretto.
