Acts of Kindness - Motherhood and Beyond

I Wait All Year For This!

This truly is the “most wonderful time of the year!” I love the holidays! I’m guilty of humming Christmas tunes and watching Hallmark Christmas movies all year long. I adore the magic, the warmth and the joy that accompanies this special time of year, but for some, the holidays bring on added stress and depression. Whether they are missing a loved one, family and friends live too far away, or finances have created some extra pressures, it’s easy to get down and not feel very jolly. I could just say “bah-humbug” and go about my day, but this is a great opportunity to teach my kiddos about bringing cheer to the world and sharing smiles with those in need. After all…

The spirit of Christmas is giving, so why not give cheer, joy and love?

December Acts Of Kindness Calendar

November was all about what we were thankful for and the kids really enjoyed having a task to complete each day with our Giving Tree.  Our December activity is another that we can all do together!  December will be our “Acts of Kindness Month” and each day we will complete a task meant to bring a little joy to someone else. Even if you start late or miss a few days, use the calendar below to pick which items your family can do to create a little holiday cheer and spread some magic to those who may need a little extra right now.
