Very soon, I will be returning “home” to Walt Disney World to start our next magical adventure. While that is reason enough to celebrate, this vacation is particularly exciting and important to me, as I will be creating memories with almost 30 of my closest friends and family. (Yes, I said 30!)
Over a year and a half ago, and long before my Disney Parks Moms Panel dream had materialized, my mom came to me with an idea she had begun tossing around with my step-dad. Instead of throwing a big party for their fifteenth wedding anniversary, they had decided to make it a destination celebration and invite everyone to join them on a Disney Cruise. (How awesome are they to not only want to go on a Disney Cruise, but to want to share the experience with all of us?) With a family of seven kids (from the combined marriage) and a few of us having families of our own, I knew from the beginning this was going to be epic, both in number of people attending and in the sheer amount of “amazingness” this vacation would hold. Plans grew throughout the process to now include more friends and family and a few days at Walt Disney World beforehand, in order to really get the pixie-dust flying. With ages ranging from babies to grandparents and everything in between, we truly have adventures planned for the young to the young at heart. We will also be partaking in FastPass+ and Memory Maker, and will have guests experiencing them from the perspective of staying on and off property as well as views from Annual Passholders. I can’t wait to share this adventure with you and offer some tips and ideas on the planning and experience of this “Grand Gathering.”

Thank you Allison!

Hi Lauren! I can’t wait to hear more about how you link multiple reservations to one Memory Maker account. Is that possible? It would certainly make it a bigger bargain.

Hi Jill, I will be happy to let you know how it worked for such a large group, after our trip. My previous experience with Memory Maker was fantastic. Hoping it is just a smooth with so many linked friends and family.

Hi Jill, Today’s post is all about our Memory Maker experience!
