Camping gear! It’s one of those things that no matter how many camping trips we have taken, it always seems like there is something else we could use (and things that we never use.)

It’s that time of year and my family is so excited. We can’t wait to get into the mountains to breathe that fresh, Colorado air and camp. We’ve gone backpacking, tent camping and just last year started “pop-up” camping. While I love all three, each kind and the length of the trip means a completely separate camping gear packing list. I love spur of the moment trips and those that take weeks to plan, so having a handy stash of the best camping gear readily available makes packing and prepping a breeze. Check out some of my Amazon favorites I keep around the house for camping, weekend barbeques and other fun adventures.

So how many of these make your list or your would like to have list? When using our pop-up for several days, utilizing the storage space we have is always a priority, so I love the collapsible options. I also feel more comfortable having the first aid kit and solar powered generator around in case we need them. When backpacking I even make sure to have miniature versions of those two items along. What would you add?
Having a list of camping gears is plus point, and no matter if we are going to camping for few days or more, carrying portable camping gears is very important to make the camping experience better.
